How to comb your child's hair, without tears

To get rid of stubborn tangles after your little one’s bubble bath, spritz our Detangling Spray liberally on wet hair and brush it out. (One of our favorite brushes is the WetBrush.) Be sure to go slowly, starting from the ends and working your way up to the scalp. Divide the hair off into smaller sections if you need to. Knots and tangles will brush right out! For thicker hair or locks that need more moisture, use our Detangling Spray in combination with our Conditioner.

If you’re detangling dry hair (like bed head, for example), spritz only on the tangles. Use the same technique, working your way slowly from the bottom to the top in short strokes. In addition to being tangle-free, hair will dry smoother and silkier, with less frizz!how to detangle toddler's hair

Just like our other products, only pure, plant-based ingredients make the cut for our Detangling Spray. It’s not only safe for the scalp, skin, and hair, but actually nourishes while it detangles! It’s formulated with a unique blend of plant-based ingredients that are gentle on your head, but are ultra-effective at taming tangles and frizz. Here are a few key ingredients that knock our unique Detangling Spray out of the park:

  • Hydrolyzed Adansonia Digitata Seed Extract (say that ten times fast!) increases the manageability and silky “flow” of hair. Essentially this extract is what helps break up those nasty knots.

  • Glycerin is a humectant, which means it helps hair retain moisture. It’s also excellent at shaping curls, so if your little one has curly locks, scrunch away!

  • Dicetyldimonium Chloride has a confusing scientific name, but is actually just a positively charged natural salt. It works as an excellent anti-static, “fly-away” tamer, and detangler.

Struggling with tangles, tantrums, and tears? Give our 100% natural Detangling Spray a test-drive. No more pain, no more tears — just beautiful, lovely locks.
